We've booked our flights for Thailand. We got the ones detailed in the last diary entry, so if you want to come on the same flight as us check that, or message us for more details. Oh and important, we paid the extra £20 to use the British Airways executive lounge. Champagne breakfasts for everyone!! =)

Our Swedish friends, Mikke and Anna, came over for a week at the end of July. We wore them out by dragging them around the sites of London for the first three days. We saw all the main things; Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, etc.

After London we decided on a change of scenary and we all went to Camber Sands for the day. It wasn't as sunny as it could have been, but it was just warm enough. We had a picnic, and played some games (kubb & boule), then headed off to Hastings to see Tom, Olly, etc.

On the Saturday we went to my parents, and on Sunday we spent the afternoon playing games in our local pub, the Dacre Arms (a fantastic place).

Mikke and I tried quite a few different English beers while they were here. I knew there were lots of wierd ones from little breweries, but I'd never tried them, so it was a learning experience for me as well. We both enjoyed all but one of the ones we tried, there were some really good ones. Old Bob was one of my favorites. =)

This weekend has been fantastic. Mandi and I had a lovely relaxing time. We went for a long stroll along the sea front in Eastbourne with my parents, then yesturday we had a picnic on Blackheath. We flew Mandi's kite a little, but there wasn't enough consistent wind. Mandi then started beating herself up, practicing her Poi.
